WHAT WE OFFER:

Child Therapy

therapist for children, child counselling

At Victoria Zein Psychology & Counselling we understand that young children often express their feelings and experiences in unique ways. Our counselling services for young children are designed to create a safe and nurturing environment where they can explore their emotions through play, art, and other creative modalities. We utilise evidence-based techniques, (including play therapy) which allows children to communicate their thoughts and feelings in a manner that is comfortable and natural for them.

Our clinician is trained to work with children dealing with a range of issues, including anxiety, behavioural challenges, trauma, family transitions, and many more. By fostering a trusting relationship, we help young children develop emotional resilience, healthy coping mechanisms, and improved communication skills.

Therapy For Teenagers

The adolescent years can be a time of significant change and growth, often accompanied by various emotional and psychological challenges. Our counselling services for teens provide a supportive and non-judgmental space where they can explore issues related to identity, peer relationships, academic pressures, and family dynamics. Our goal is to empower teenagers with the tools they need to manage stress, build self-esteem, and develop healthy coping strategies. We work closely with each teenager to help them navigate this crucial developmental stage and achieve a sense of well-being and self-discovery.

Young Adult Therapy

therapist for young adult counselling

As young adults transition into independence and navigate the complexities of adulthood, they often face unique challenges that can impact their mental health and well-being. Our counselling services for young adults are tailored to address a wide range of issues some of which include career stress, relationship concerns, life transitions, and the pursuit of personal goals. We provide a confidential and supportive environment where clients can openly discuss their concerns and work towards meaningful change.

Our therapist uses a range of therapeutic approaches, including solution-focused therapy, existential therapy, and strengths-based counselling, to help young adults gain clarity, build resilience, and enhance their overall quality of life. Whether it’s managing anxiety, dealing with past traumas, or finding a sense of direction, we are committed to supporting young adults on their journey towards a fulfilling and balanced life.

School Counselling

In addition to clinical practice, Victoria plays a crucial role in supporting schools, educators, and learners within educational settings and provides school counselling from K-12. She provides valuable guidance and interventions to help create inclusive and supportive environments for students, addressing behavioural, emotional, and developmental concerns that may impact their learning and well-being.

Victoria offers school counselling services to accommodate those who may find it difficult to visit in person. By providing support directly within the school environment, Victoria aims to make counselling more accessible and convenient for both parents and students, ensuring that your child receives the help they need without added stress.
